I have worked in primary education for over 25 years, as a teacher, in various leadership roles and as a local authority consultant.  My passion for mathematics motivates me to explore and use approaches that build strong connections in learning.   It is my firm belief that ALL children can achieve given the right tools and a growth mindset.

My philosophies of teaching are fully aligned with current developments in teaching for mastery and I am a keen advocate of the work of Mathematics Mastery and the NCETM.  I currently hold the NCETM Accredited PD Lead status having trained and worked as a Mastery Specialist within a London Maths Hub.

I am a confident and highly effective presenter with extensive experience in developing training materials and bespoke in-school support. It has been my goal to inspire staff at all levels to develop and deepen their understanding of teaching and learning in mathematics through training, coaching and collaboration.
